Welcome to Breathwork
with Jamie Booth
Jamie has spent over 27 years behind the chair as a hairstylist, but her spiritual journey has been a much longer and more personal road. Living with ADHD, she often felt overwhelmed and restless, even after exploring a wide range of healing modalities; from meditation and therapy to recovery meetings. While each offered something valuable, nothing created the lasting sense of calm and clarity she was searching for. Everything changed when she discovered breathwork. Now, as a behavioral breathwork facilitator Jamie blends knowledge of body physiology and breath awareness, along with conscious breathing techniques and energy healing to help others reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. She creates a safe and supportive space where clients can develop a daily relationship with their breath, regulate their body chemistry, and rediscover a sense of balance. Jamie believes that our breath is one of the most powerful tools we have for regulating the nervous system.

What Is Behavioral Breathwork?
Behavioral breathwork is a structured, evidence-informed approach to breathing that focuses on identifying and reshaping habitual breathing patterns to support better mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It recognizes that the way we breathe is often influenced by stress, trauma, posture, learned behaviors, and that dysfunctional patterns (such as shallow chest breathing, breath-holding, or overbreathing) can contribute to anxiety, fatigue, and nervous system imbalance.
Through guided techniques, behavioral breathwork helps clients develop more functional, efficient breathing habits—such as nasal breathing, diaphragmatic breathing, and balanced rhythms-so the body can regulate itself more effectively. Rather than aiming for intense or cathartic experiences, this approach emphasizes consistency, awareness, and nervous system regulation, making it a practical and sustainable tool for everyday life.
For facilitators, behavioral breathwork offers a grounded, accessible way to support clients in building resilience, improving focus, and cultivating a steady sense of calm from within.

Meet Jamie Booth
Breathwork Facilitator
Hi, I’m Jamie! I’ve always been an extrovert, full of energy, and living with high-functioning anxiety. I got sober from alcohol and other substances when I was 26, over half my life ago. With ADHD, I’ve been running on high speed for as long as I can remember, but when I took my first breathwork class, everything changed.

A few years before, I had gone through a major life trauma. I tried talk therapy and did some deep healing, which definitely helped, but during that breathwork session, something magical happened. I could literally feel the stored trauma leaving my body. That’s when I knew I had to become a breathwork facilitator. It felt like my true calling.

Now, I regularly take breathwork classes, and every time, it’s one of the best things I do for myself. Honestly, I can’t believe I got this far without it. I’m so excited to share this practice with others, and my hope is that it can help you the same way it’s helped me.
